The movie will be shown on January 31st in more than 40 cities

The first batch of theaters have been announced for Dave Grohl's Sound City documentary. The movie will be shown one night only on January 31st in more than 40 cities.

It will open on February 1st for limited runs in New York, Los Angeles, Nashville, Phoenix, Providence, Miami and Dallas, and there will be more openings throughout February.
