Alter Bridge have started worked on their fourth album. The band posted on Facebook a photo of Mark Tremonti and Myles Kennedy in the studio, along with a note that says, "Writing on 'AB4' has begun. Very productive sessions so far!"

The writing sessions won't run that long, since Tremonti and Kennedy both have tours lined up. Tremonti will hit Europe and the U.S. with his solo band in February, and Kennedy will tour Europe with Slash's band in February.
