It looks like Liam Gallagher is no fan of Mumford & Sons. In a year-end interview with England's NME, the former Oasis and current Beady Eye singer says the folk-rockers look "like they've got [expletive] nits and eat lentil soup with their sleeves rolled up. They all look like they live on the heath. Maybe that's where they record."
Comparing the Mumfords to Don McLean, Gallagher's sums up his objection to them as "far too many acoustic guitars, no style." He complains that, "They look like they shop at Oxfam. I wouldn't put any posters up of any band if I was a 16-year-old lad. There's none of that sitting down on [expletive] stools for me, sweetheart."
Liam also tells NME that Beady Eyes second album is being produced by TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek and that although he hates to use the word, it will be "experimental."
