Join us for this year's Battle of the Bands at Oxcart Days in Crookston!!
The Tenth Annual Battle of the Bands will be on
Thursday, August 19, 2010 as part of Crookston’s Ox Cart Days Festival. As
before, the Battle of the Bands will take place in Central Park beginning at
7:30 pm and ending at approximately 10:30 p.m. Kenny’s Music will provide
equipment for the bands and run the sound and lighting equipment.We would like to see a variety of music this
year whether it be country, rock, bluegrass, punk, etc.Spread
the word on your Facebook or MySpace accounts if you have them and if you would
like a poster sent to you please let us know.
You are invited to submit a CD (preferred), tape or
direct us to your MySpace, Facebook, Reverb Nation, etc. page.Your submission must include two songs, which
must include an original and cover song.Please mail to Chamber of Commerce, Attn: Tom Anderson, PO Box 115,
Crookston, MN 56716 by August 9, 2010.Please email your page to Juanita Lopez at jlopez@visitcrookston.com.Upon review
of the music, the committee will select approximately 5- 6 bands to battle it
out.
We
will notify you by e-mail (please include an e-mail address) one week before
the Battle of the Bands if you are selected.
